Portrait of an old woman in Angkor Wat, once an ancient city of Cambodia
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1250)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 300 mm
ISO Speed: 800

Walking slowly to me, she asked me for one thing: ‘do you have an empty bottle of drinking water?’ I hadn’t go one at the time; she smiled at me, though.

With a walking stick in one hand and a plastic in the other, she’s got her own job to earn a living in this ancient temple complex
These are my favorite photographs, in my Siem Reap series, shot during my trip to Siem Reap in August this 2008.

Poor grandmum!
your topic is deceptive. I thought there was a picture of Khmer women in the 12th century - eg. like those on the temple walls.
