I was not in town, lost in a jungle.
My day-long visit to Kirirom National Park, Chambak, last weekend was quite an experience. It’s neither the first nor the last time to get there to enjoy the quiet moment from busy Phnom Penh. Early in the morning, not a shiny Sunday, we left the modern world straight forward to Kampong Speu province, where the natural park situated. It’s about 112 km southwest from the Cambodian capital.

Riding ox-cart to get to the waterfall

Coincidentally my old classmates and I were approached by National Television of Kampuchea (TVK) team to feature in their video documentary

So many plants I don’t know what they are–Don’t ask me if they’re eatable

With a free of charge tour guide offered by the TVK team, we also paid a brief visit to see bat cave

One of the most beautiful views of waterwall at Chambak

I fell down on the rock twice–not hurt, fortunately
The pictures look really nice. Living at the countryside recharges one’s energy after having living one’s life in a riskful city.
Yes, good pics! I and my group used to go to do our project ( stationery project ) in Ankor Borei few times. The scenery is fantastic, but who knows how many children are in hard situation going to school?
Thanks for sharing!
