Phnom Penh in big picture

Perfect Phnom Penh, an online photo gallery of the Cambodian capital, is growing pretty fast to be a digital museum of Phnom Penh city where people can visit at anytime, from anywhere.

In about two months, 33 photographers joined to contribute their favorite pictures to the pool of the photo group. Setup to give travellers, visitors, and locals to showcase the magnificent Cambodian capital city, the online photo group, as of today, displays 134 digital pictures, many are stunning and beautiful ones of Phnom Penh. There are just so many interesting snapshots on the Perfect Phnom Penh that I hesitate to select one to feature in this post. And as a matter of fact, a person would find it hard to select some of the best. I have to admit that I find it exciting to see this initiative worked, and hope to see more interesting things to happen as time does fly.

Also, it is something cool that the photo group was mentioned at Details are Sketchy:

The group is just over a week old but already has some pretty outstanding photography in it. And while it’s still a bit thin on local talent, that will hopefully change as the group matures. So sign up already.

That said, a picture can say a thousand words. So how many a pixel needed to compose an image? And how hard have we been trying to capture some of the most beautiful pictures? Shoot it, save it, and share it with Perfect of Phnom Penh.
