Kafka on the Shore
Kafka became part of a brand-new world after he left his Tokyo home to search for his missing mother and sister. Knowing that he has to be one of the toughest fifteen-year-old boys in the world, and sees no reason to live in his isolated world with his father, the fifteen-year-old started a mission to find out why his mother abandoned him when he was only 4 years old. Kafka on the Shore, a novel of Japanese author Haruki Murakami, brings readers to a world where there is raining fish, living spirits, and human and cat talk to each other.
