South Korea and Japan Tourists to Cambodia Made the Top List

In the first six months of this year South Korea tourists to Cambodia are on the top of the list, followed by Japan and the United States.
However the numbers of tourists from the United Kingdom and France declined. In other news, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia launched e-Visa that enables travellers from around the world to apply for a Cambodia travel visa via the web. Surprisingly to see the development of the whole world going paperless and that I am sometimes left a bit behind. It was in late 2005 that I realized that electronic flight ticket available in our real world.

That’s so true. When I went to Siem Reap, there were buses and buses of Korean tourists there. Our hotel was also full of Koreans.

I’ve heard the news also. However, the Korean tourists usually only use Koreans tour package companies with Korean tour conductor, renting their own car companies, and only eating at Korean foods. I’ve also heard the Korean tour conductors do not behave themselve while showing tourists around Angkor Wat; they let the tourists touch the sculptures without warming them. They currently are not popular with Khmer workers in Siemp Reap. Most hotels deny to let Koreans to stay in their hotels for some bad-manner reasons. Financially we do not make much benifit from those Korean tourists.
