Just finished off Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Got a second-hand copy from my favorite bookstore in town, the one near the royal palace. It costed me one week breakfast, of course. Unfortunately there is no book 2, Harry Potter and Chambers of Secret of the series, available, at least for the time being. A salewoman promised me to tell her boss to import the Harry Potter and Chambers of Secret and the rest of the series from its main store in Thailand. I wondered perhaps I am the last person in Cambodia who read Harry Potter.
Translated into many different languages, the book is also available in Khmer in some bookstores in Phnom Penh.
Paddington Station, where Harry Potter and Hagrid were up on their way from Diagon Alley – where Hagrid helped Harry buying first-year uniform, course books, a wand, a cauldron, a set glass, a telescope, and a set brass scales to attend magical school Hogward.
An Arsenal fan. So am I. I have just recollected the name of this underground station when reading the book. Paddingdon Station stands opposite to Hilton Hotel, where I stayed for two nights when attending a conference in London last year.
I should have met Harry at the Paddington Station.;-)

I’ve finished reading 4 books of Harry Potter so far. U’ve got to read the chamber of secret!! it was GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I read it twice!! HrmMM is the soccerer’s stone the last book or sth? I’ve never heard of this title just yet or maybe I’m just slow. Anyway, I’ve found out that the author won’t be writing anymore of Harry Potter. She’s releasing the last one and that’s it
Sopha, Wattana, the thing is it is a bit astonishing to look for the book 2. It seems that nobody is interested in the story. I watched the movie on cable television for several times, but I did not get it. I was not attracted by anything. Just did not understand. In text, the book illustrates more exciting and clarity of characters and scene. Perhaps I am just a bit classic or traditonal.
Well, she wrote the book — so she is what she thinks to end the story. In our world, there are two things at the end: a happy ending and the opposite one.
I love reading Harry Potter more than watching the movies is because with reading..my imagination is “timeless”. I understand why they had to cut out some parts because of technical difficulties. I don’t mind reading Harry Potter in Khmer again that would be awsome. Anyway, just wondering if u have read “first they killed my father” yet..very heart-felt so far

I bought a copy at Santepheap (Peace) book centre, the one on Monyvong Boulevard. And last weekend I found a lot of copies at Monument bookstore. It is unbelievably cheap, just less than one US dollar.
Hi. I’ve read all HP books and watched the movies. Of all the HP books, I only have the fifth in the series, HP Order of the Phoenix, the rest I borrowed from friends. Will let you borrow it if you like
