In September 2005 I joined Global Voices Online, a non-profit global citizens’ media project, as an author. The project is sponsored by and launched from the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at the Harvard Law School. I met some of these amazing people in London in December last year. There, I met Enthan. He is now a research fellow at Harvard Law School along with Rebecca MacKinnon, former CNN bureau chief and correspondent based in China and Japan. They both found this global online community project that seeks to amplify, curate and aggregate the global conversation online. I write about what’s going on in discussions in Cambodian blogosphere, or weblog community. When I first started, Jose Manuel Tesoro, East-Asia regional editor, provided me some information and guidances. Archive of my writings can be found on this page. We have world blog aggregator, Flickr community, BridgeBlog Index, social bookmark, IRC Online Chat, and email discussion groups.
At the time of composing this weblog post, I am listening to an audio interview that Rebecca, who prefers to describe herself a recovering TV reporter-turned-blogger, talked about this global online conversation initiative to Echo Chamber project.
