Komik Cambodia Artist Exchange

Arts Network Asia is sponsoring Indonesian artist Beng Rahadian for the ‘Komic Cambodia’ art Exchange this month, hosted by the Cambodia Book Sector Federation.

During this brief visit, Beng will research a comic about Cambodia, meet local artists, attend ‘Lire en Fete’ book festival, teach workshops and have a small exhibition (Sunday 27th, 4pm at Sun Dew Design near Java Cafe). There will also be a screening of independent Indonesian film/animation at Sovanna Phum. For more information, click on the links below for schedule (as web page or PDF file).

Discussions are underway for part two - a Khmer artist visiting Indonesia for a 2006 comic convention!
