Development of Cambodia Wikipedia
Although we have a resourcefulness of Cambodia Wikipedia in English language, free-content Cambodia encyclopedia, more efforts in further development of Khmer-language of Cambodia Wikipedia is vital. For the time being the comprehensive English version of the encyclopedia has been made available, but there are only 19 articles in the Khmer version. Wikipedia is a free-content encyclopedia, written collaboratively by people from all around the world. The site is a wiki, which means that anyone can edit articles simply by clicking on the edit this page link.
There are 13,000 active contributors working on over 1,800,000 articles in more than 100 languages. As of today, there are 779,451 articles in English; every day hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world make tens of thousands of edits and create thousands of new articles to enhance the amount of knowledge held by the Wikipedia encyclopedia.
In many bookstores and newsstands in Phnom Penh, there are a lot of English written books and reading materials for foreign visitors, but there are less in Khmer for Cambodian readers.

Still need time, since both Khmer Unicode and IT skill are still in shortage.
As I know, Sengtha from e-Khmer has spent much on it.
Vietnam is also setting campaign on enriching its giant Wikipedia

I believe we have all materials and people in place. And it is better to start early, so that we will have more to time to do a lot of works.
Our main priority is to spread this news to more people, especially Cambodian students. I hope this is our first campaign. More people tell their friends and colleagues about it. And who know whether the media people will find it interesting to feature in their news report.
