US Election Invades Cambodia Headlines

Kerry undertoook a mission to Cambodia? It is a question and answer in the news and blogs. I regularly get news about Cambodia from Google News Alert beta. However, recently, most of the email received are about John Kerry. And when I search the web, preferably Google, for blogs about Cambodia (blog+Cambodia), again, search results are mostly about him again.

I am now collecting blogs of Cambodia, which is my contribution work. And as the upcoming US election scraps the headlines, then I have to wait.

I’ve seen articles that claim the Prince has been told by Kerry and believes that he visited. Any local reaction to the deception?

I have heard nothing about this from locals. But, as far as I remember, a local newspaper, the Cambodia Daily published this story told by a biographer of His Majesty King Norodomsihanouk.

Kerry has moved his claim to January or later, but may drop it as soon as today. I’d be curious how the Prince reacts to the final story as the lie seems to have been personaly told on one of Kerry’s visits. If he was to issue formal paperwork banning the Senator as Persona non Grata, you would have quite a scoop.

Looks like Kerry’s sticking with “two visits” no dates claimed yet. So any information you could find about dates would be very useful. There’s potential for links from Instapundit level sites if you come up with a good informative post.

As an owner of this blog, I decided not to allow anonymous to comment. I think it is appropriate to communicate with someone, at least with an identity. Thanks for your understanding.
